Rheumatoid Arthritis

Rheumatoid arthritis is an autoimmune inflammatory disease. That is, the immune system mistakenly attacks healthy cells in the body, causing inflammation of the affected area of the body. RA primarily attacks joints, but usually attacks many joints at once.
