Granulomatosis with Polyangiitis
Granulomatosis with polyangiitis is a rare disease that causes inflammation of blood vessels in the nose, sinuses, throat, lungs, and kidneys. Formerly known as Wegener's granulomatosis, this condition belongs to a group of angiopathy called vasculitis. It reduces blood flow to some of your organs. Affected tissue can develop areas of inflammation called granulomas, which can affect the function of these organs.
